Composite Casting is suitable for the replacement of low volume metal components and prototyping using actual production materials.  This casting process is ideal for hollow manifolds and housings.  Structural Composite Casting uses a composite thermopolymer with fiber reinforcement.  Some of the benefits of cast composites are:

• Significantly reduces tooling costs

• Quick lead times

• Cost effective alternative for low volume production

• Production part performance in prototype timing

• Three high temperature (400˚F+) composite formulations are available dependent on the requirements of the application

• Process allows for the production of parts that are not conducive to injection or  compression molding; i.e., wall thickness up to 2 inches.
