Akron Porcelain & Plastics provides custom assembles that exceed customer expectations. Assembly fixtures are designed and constructed in-house by our Engineering staff and Tool Shop. The assembly fixtures yield efficient and cost effective results to ultimately minimize assembly time.

Complex quality checking fixtures for assessing fit and function are conceptually designed in-house and constructed on a contract basis with local tool shops.

All procedures are maintained under our ISO certified document control system. Lot number, assembly technician, and assembly date are noted on identification labels on each part, when part size permits, for the purposes of product traceability. JIT assembly into returnable totes is also available.

Proven and reputable sources for hardware, automotive interior grade coatings, and metal stampings currently support our assembly department when specialized services are required.
