Akron Porcelain & Plastics Co. has the capability of supplying a wide range of Wet Process porcelain insulators for the following applications:

• Transit

• Suspension

• Pin – Low and High Voltage

• Spool

• Strain

• Line Post

• Surge Arrestor

• Fuse Cutout

Technical information for each of these insulators is available upon request. Most of these insulators can be purchased in both brown and gray glaze and will meet all NEMA specifications.

Akron Porcelain & Plastics Co. will look at your application regardless of the volume required and will be happy to assist you with your sourcing need. We do have the capability to look at custom applications with and without assembly of additional components and hardware. If we cannot supply your custom application, we will make every effort to steer you in the right direction for suitable sourcing.

We offer electrical, physical, and water absorption testing of wet process ceramics.
